INFINITY
Animation, Illustration, Video Editing
The short animation, Infinity, draws inspiration from my seemingly tough motorcycle-driving father, and a popular tattoo trend from the late 2000s. I’ve always followed what is trending online, so being able to make a silly animation that contradicts our expectations for who these trends are made for was a self-satisfying project. This animation is 12fps, hand drawn, and made using Adobe Photoshop & Premiere. The animations on this page were featured in a reel for future Art & Technology students.

FISHING LOOP
Animation, Illustration, Video Editing
My first college animation project was to create a looping video. I grew up going to the Oregon coast to spend time with my fisherman grandfather and I’ve always enjoyed spending time out in the water. My looping animation reflects the relaxed nature of my grandfather and my love for the ocean. This animation is 12fps and was made using Adobe Photoshop & Premiere.
LUCID DREAMS
Animation, Illustration, Video Editing
Lucid dreams presents inspiration from horror-rpgs and my own battles with insomnia. As a child, I struggled managing my stress and anxiety and often times my fears would appear in my dreams. While making this animation, I was also learning coding to create my own games which ties into the overall appearance of the illustrations. The biggest challenge in this animation was hand drawing pixelated figures and letters.
